Indirect Tax Manager

The primary responsibility of this position is to assist in the management of US indirect tax matters including compliance, audits, and opportunities within sales/use tax and property tax.

Heres What Youll Do:

  • Oversight of execution within the US indirect tax function including:
    • Monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual sales/use tax compliance
    • Property tax compliance
    • Budget and forecast inquiries
  • Coordinate audits with state and local jurisdictions
  • Maintain execution and documentation of internal control procedures/policies under Sarbanes Oxley
  • Partner with third party consultants and vendors supporting compliance and opportunity endeavors
  • Research and review of impending and enacted legislative matters for tax/executive management
  • Provide training, education, and continuous feedback to direct report(s)
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Heres What Youll Need:

  • Minimum 6 years of corporate experience in public accounting firm and/or in industry
  • Strong understanding of and experience in preparing tax compliance
  • Bachelors in Business/Finance/Accounting
  • Proficient in researching and interpreting legislation, statutes, published materials governing US indirect tax concepts
  • CPA/CMI is preferred
