What You Will Be Doing The AVP, Credit Analyst is responsible for supporting the production team through financial analysis, underwriting, structuring, documenting, and monitoring existing and prospective client relationships, consistent with our Client Service Standards. How You Will Get the Job Done Analysis & Underwriting: Prepares financial spreads and credit presentations that sufficiently and appropriately summarize the sources of repayment using a risk-based approach. Demonstrates expertise and experience in analyzing and underwriting credits including historical and projected business and personal cash flow, global cash flow, collateral analysis, and industry analysis. Maintains knowledge of the Bank's Loan Policy and in assessing creditworthiness of borrowers. Credit Administration: Assists lenders with on-going credit administration and portfolio management including the periodic review of borrower reporting, updating ticklers, and ongoing account monitoring for compliance with reporting requirements and covenants. Sets up and maintains electronic credit files. Documentation: Reads, reviews and understands different loan documentation. Has sufficient expertise and experience to review documentation of all components of the approved credit accommodation. Collaboration: Serves as a resource and provides backup to fellow analysts. May assist credit managers with special projects. Works collaboratively across credit and lending teams to identify opportunities for enhanced client service. Accompanies lenders on client visits when necessary. Productivity: Provides prompt turnaround on customer and credit requests, while communicating the status of loans in process with lender and/or credit managers. Demonstrates the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and oversight. Keep well informed as to market conditions as it relates to assessing risk in credit transactions. Professional & Educational Experience You Bring A Bachelor's Degree from a four-year College or University with emphasis on business, finance, accounting or statistics and a minimum of 5 years of experience in banking (commercial and consumer lending/credit analysis); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
