Location: Las Vegas, NV

Position: Financial Controller

Salary: $80k - 100k DOE

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, with specific expertise in NetSuite and a proven track record of at least 5 years as a Financial Controller. This role will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations and ensuring accuracy in reporting to support the company's goals.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain the company's financial records using NetSuite, ensuring data integrity and compliance with accounting standards including day-to-day accounting operations, transaction processing, reconciliations, financial reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.

Support the Senior Director of Finance in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.

Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports to senior management.

Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate filings.

Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency.

Work with the finance team to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Supervise, mentor, and develop junior accounting staff.

Provide strategic financial insights to support long-term business planning and growth initiatives.

Skills / Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, or a related field.

At least 5 years of experience as a Financial Controller or a similar leadership role.

Extensive experience with NetSuite, including implementation, customization, and reporting functionalities.

Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.

Bonus Skills / Experience

Active CPA certification is a plus.

Experience directing internal and external audits to ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to best practices in compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations.
