Finance Analyst IV - Hybrid

Will be in the office approximately 4 times per month.** **Position Purpose:** With the Buckeye Health Plan Finance team, you will support Plan Finance with Month-end calculations and estimates, statistical reporting, revenue/premium reconciliations and financial analysis. You will also be a subject matter expert for finance for the ODM (Ohio Department of Medicaid) contract requirements that relate to the finance division. + Run pre-established reports as well as development of new reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory agencies + Develop metrics to evaluate financial impact of proposed contract and medical management + Develop integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations + Contribute commentary/insights into the business units performance based on market specific knowledge and analysis based results/indicators + Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately + Identify trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management + Perform financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts + Identify and research variances + Handle complex and high level financial analysis + Present and discuss analysis with upper management + Performs other duties as assigned + Complies with all policies and standards **Education/Experience:** Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience. **6+ years of financial or data analysis experience** **Preferred Skills:** + Accounting, Finance and Data analysis experience in a Managed Care Health Plan + Advanced skills in data and financial analysis to include advance skills in Excel, Access, OneStream, EDW/Microstrategy (+knowledge in SQL), and Power BI + Strong critical thinking skills, data analysis, financial analysis + Understanding of strong internal accounting controls Pay Range: $86,000.00 - $154,700.00 per year Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules.
