Tax Manager, International Tax at a Glance.
The individual will be responsible for supporting the Global Tax Department in functional processes, technical solutions, and companywide projects. Identify problems and opportunities within the Tax department to improve efficiency and meet the broader company objectives. Collaborate with the business and IT partners to resolve issues to maximize tax compliance and technology benefits.
Whats on the menu?
- Assist with U.S tax compliance by reviewing our most material Form 5471s, including consolidated returns
- Assist with the preparation of Form 8992 for GILTI and Form 1118 for the foreign tax credit
- Oversee the preparation and submission of Country-by-Country Reports (CbCR) in compliance with BEPS 2.0 requirements
- Guide the implementation of tax software related to Pillar 2 compliance, specifically the GloBE information return (GIR) ensuring the company meets the Minimum Tax rule requirements
- Coordinate with tax team members globally to ensure consistent application of Pillar 2 principles in local filings and reporting and assess any local adjustments or exceptions.
- Lead the preparation of Pillar 2 calculations to ensure the tax documentation reflects compliance with Pillar 2 rules, addressing any potential gaps or risks
- Stay current with global tax reforms, specifically OECD BEPS 2.0 updates, and interpret how these changes affect Kraft Heinz Companys tax compliance requirements
- Provide expertise and support during tax audits, ensuring accurate representation of the companys tax position in compliance with global regulations
- Support the Tax Departments tax technology strategy by developing systems and processes, utilizing automation tools to enhance existing and future processes, and documenting those processes and procedures

- Bachelors degree in accounting required- CPA preferred
- Minimum of 5 years tax experience with knowledge of international provisions of the IRC
- Experience using CorpTax tax compliance software, Thompson Reuters OneSource tax provision software, SAP and Oracles Hyperion reporting software preferred
- Experiences using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to learn new software and financial systems quickly
- Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
